Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA superstar LeBron James, will join the Arizona Wildcats basketball team in 2025.
A three-star prospect from Sierra Canyon High School in California, James announced his commitment via Instagram on Wednesday, with a caption, “100% committed.”
Reports claim James recently made an unofficial visit to Arizona, electing to commit to the Wildcats, despite receiving offers from Ohio State and Duquesne.
This summer, James competed with the Strive For Greatness grassroots program in the Nike EYBL circuit on the Nike Peach Jam. Over five games, he averaged five points, alongside two rebounds, while scoring 12 points in 23 minutes against Nightrydas Elite.
He averaged 6.9 points, and 2.2 rebounds, shooting just less than 39 percent from the field, and an impressive 36.8 percent from beyond the arc during 14 games in the Nike EYBL this spring, courtesy of ESPN.
Bryce James becomes the second recruit of the Class of 2025 to give a verbal to Tommy Lloyd’s Wildcats, joining fellow top-25 prospect Dwayne Aristode who committed to Arizona in October.
With James committing, the Arizona Wildcats strengthen their roster for the future, providing more promise to their lineup.
