Manama: Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) hosted its prestigious Annual Ramadhan Ghabga at the Grand Ambassador Ballroom, Diplomat Radisson Blu on 25 February 2026. The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to celebrate the holy month and engage in high-level dialogue regarding the Kingdom’s evolving digital economy.

The evening was held under the patronage of H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering a robust technological ecosystem in Bahrain.

The evening’s proceedings commenced with welcome remarks from BTECH Chairman Rashid Abdulla Al Sinan, who emphasized the vital role of collaborative tech communities in achieving Bahrain’s Economic Vision. This was followed by a dedicated Tech Innovators Sponsor Appreciation segment, which served to honor the various organizations currently fueling the Kingdom’s technological advancements.

The centerpiece of the evening was a thought-provoking panel discussion titled “AI for Business Opportunities and Growth.” Experts explored how artificial intelligence is currently reshaping commercial operations, driving efficiency, and opening new avenues for economic diversification within the region.

Furthermore, the society utilized the platform to share official BTECH announcements, unveiling several upcoming initiatives designed to support both local tech startups and established enterprises. The Ghabga concluded with a vibrant networking session, providing a traditional Ramadhan setting for attendees to connect and build strategic professional partnerships.
