The entertainment world is abuzz with the launch of “Dragon Babies”, the fresh-faced talents of Dragons Entertainment Productions, Inc., helmed by beauty expert Bambbi Fuentes and entrepreneur Tine Areola of Baitlehem. Unveiled at Music Box in Quezon City recently, this new batch of stars is ready to soar, promising a wave of talent, creativity, and star power.
Leading the pack are Shira Tweg and Khai Flores, the breakout stars of the award-winning advocacy film Sugat sa Dugo (Wounded Blood). Their performances didn’t just capture hearts; they bagged the titles of Best New Actress and Best New Actor at the 39th PMPC Star Awards for Movies. “Nakaka-pressure po, pero sobrang saya,” Khai admitted, reflecting on his win. Shira, meanwhile, remains humble yet ambitious, saying, “I would grab every opportunity na dumating sa akin,” as she juggles her entertainment career with her studies at La Salle Greenhills.

The launch event also highlighted the girl groups Gandaras and Ir1zz, both bringing the house down with their electrifying performances. Gandaras, made up of Christa, Mira, Kiah, Elle, and Daffne, performed their danceable single “Kiss”, a testament to their P-pop appeal. They first captured public attention as finalists in TV5’s POPinoy and have since become a crowd favorite at events across the country.

Ir1zz, the newer group on the block, stole the show with their empowering anthem “Klaro”. Composed of Ginger, Princess, Wynona, Cary, and Aubrey, their youthful energy and vibrant stage presence were impossible to ignore. For Aubrey, the performance was emotional as she remembered her late father, Joseph Aldana of OPM’s Rockstar 2. “Kasama ko po talaga mag-perform ang papa ko dati,” she shared emotionally.
Adding more star power to the event was Jace Eusebio, a charismatic talent likened to Daniel Padilla, and the charming RJ Enzo and Migz Coloma. With their good looks and undeniable talent, the trio has already captured the attention of fans and producers alike.

Standing out also is Ghia Garcia, the pretty and charming youngest member of the roster. Her youthful enthusiasm and vibrant personality will quickly make her a fan favorite

Dragons Entertainment has teased exciting projects for these rising stars, including films, TV collaborations, and even international opportunities. Fuentes proudly shared how the pandemic spurred her to transform her beauty salon into a makeshift studio to hone her talents. “Kung may chance, dapat grab nila. Hindi lahat may opportunity na ganito,” she emphasized.
The launch also celebrated the success of Sugat sa Dugo, which not only brought recognition to Shira and Khai but also addressed the critical issue of HIV/AIDS. The film cemented Dragons Entertainment’s reputation as a trailblazer in addressing socially relevant issues through storytelling.
As the Year of the Wood Dragon transitions to the Year of the Wood Snake, Dragons Entertainment is optimistic about what lies ahead for the Dragon Babies. From dazzling singles to potential big-screen hits, these young talents are ready to light up the entertainment industry in 2025. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning!
