Acting Appropriations Panel Chairman and Marikina Representative Stella Luz Quimbo confirmed that the enrolled bills of the 2025 national budget are presently available in the Legislative Archives of the House of Representatives.
This came after a query from Davao City Representative Isidro Ungab of where enrolled bills might be located, in order to compare them to the bicameral conference committee report, which has been suspected of containing some blank items.
In an interview, Quimbo assured the public that there would be no blank items unavailable if comparing the enrolled bill with the bicameral report. She said the amounts agreed upon during the bicameral conference have all been put in the enrolled bill, and there is, of course, the technical staff to ensure all that was in accordance with the provisions approved by both chambers.
Quimbo also reiterated that anyone was free to question the 2025 national budget, given the significance of transparency and accountability in the General Appropriations Act.
