She’s a name you probably recognize from the silver screen, a powerhouse in the entertainment industry who’s been behind some of the most iconic Filipino films.
But now, Baby F. Go is stepping into a new role that’s just as impactful: this time, in politics. The celebrated movie producer and owner of BG Productions International is running as the third nominee for the Bagong Pilipinas Partylist (#146), ready to bring her passion for helping others from the world of entertainment to the halls of government.
Go’s decision to enter the political arena has a clear mission: She wants to use her experience and success to create more opportunities for Filipinos across the nation.
“Gusto kong makita ang Pilipinas na mas matagumpay, mas makatarungan, at mas malampasan ang mga hamon ng makabagong panahon,” she says passionately, highlighting her drive to improve the quality of life for Filipinos through accessible opportunities.
The Bagong Pilipinas Partylist is focused on “Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas,” a platform designed to create better livelihood opportunities and promote economic growth for all Filipinos.
Baby Go believes this mission is key to helping families thrive, and it’s what inspired her to take the leap into politics. For her, it’s not just about helping people succeed in business, but about ensuring every Filipino has the chance to succeed in life.
The partylist is dedicated to giving Filipinos access to jobs, affordable healthcare, quality education, and affordable housing—things that Baby Go believes are essential to improving the quality of life for everyone.
Joining Baby Go on the Bagong Pilipinas slate are a group of strong leaders like Undersecretary Atty. Alfred F. Bayan and Ariel Defensor Gumban, PHB. Together, they aim to build a brighter, more prosperous future for the country.
With her wealth of experience in business and the entertainment industry, Baby Go brings a unique perspective to the table—one that’s focused on collaboration, innovation, and providing tangible opportunities for Filipino families.
As Baby Go shifts her focus from the movie set to public service, her passion for progress is clear. She’s ready to make a difference, not just as a movie mogul, but as a politician who cares deeply about the welfare of the Filipino people. With her at the helm, the Bagong Pilipinas Partylist could be the fresh start the nation needs to build a better tomorrow.
