Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We start with a short prayer:
Lord Jesus, we come before Your mighty throne and ask that You restore peace and grace upon us. Have mercy and forgive us of our iniquities. Fill us with wisdom and clarify as to how we should serve our families, friends and communities better and in doing so ultimately doing this for Your glory.
Your children Father God are fearful but we ask You cover us from the enemy and help us walk forth with faith and boldness. Save us oh God almighty El Roi!
Amen and amen.
Peace and mercy is our portion in Jesus’ name.
Taking time each day even in the midst of confusion and fear to be still and seek the Lord’s face can truly uplift the spirit and redirect our focus back to the One who strengthens us. Let us all lift up the current situations in prayer, while also asking that God will have mercy on us all and deliver us from the plans of the enemy.
The enemy is working overtime to destroy but we must not allow him to succeed. Keep rejecting all fear and worry even from those around you. When they start to create more fear or depressive thoughts stop them and start reading a prayer over them. Ask the Prince of Peace, our Lord Jesus, to visit you with His calm. Keep calling on Him, day and night . He is faithful, and He will fill you with a peace that doesn’t make sense to the human mind. Keep asking for that peace to flood your heart, so that there is simply no room left for fear to dwell.
We see this promise throughout Scripture.
Just look at Psalm 91: “those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. He is our refuge and fortress.”
And Psalm 93 reminds us that the Lord reigns, He is robed in majesty, and He is mightier than the chaos of the world. When we keep our minds anchored in Him, He keeps us steady. Can our Almighty God not reassure us and protect us? Certainly can. Start speaking life over all of your family and friends. Start pleading the blood of Jesus over your whole community, town, area absolutely everything. There is no time to wait. Plead the blood over it all. Have faith and let God work His miracles.
But we also have to take an honest look at our own hearts. If we want to see God’s mercy and truly be set free, deep repentance is necessary turning away from things done against God, whether we were aware of them at the time or not. God is gracious to restore those who ask with sincerity and who are willing to change their ways and their thoughts. And this includes letting go of bitterness. Proverbs 12 tells us that the way of the wicked leads them astray, but a righteous man is rescued from trouble. We cannot hold onto grudges or fantasies of revenge and expect to walk in His blessing. It just won’t work and you will cause yourself more harm. Bitterness and thoughts of revenge bring on illnesses and open doors for unclean spirits to cause mishaps and destruction in your lives. Repent let that go and let the Lord deal with it all. He saw it anyways , don’t think He didn’t ! He searches the heart, and He draws near to those who are clean before Him.
May God cover us with safety and grace. I look forward to hearing testimonies of what He does because He is still moving, still answering, still worthy of all praise.
Amen.
