BIC, Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, brings its world-class, quarter-mile drag strip to life this Thursday (17 October) with the season’s first edition of the Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night.
This popular activity offers drag racing enthusiasts the chance to go head-to-head in a heated yet friendly battle in their very own cars or motorbikes.
Participants will get to power down the BIC strip, which is a part of the prestigious NHRA Worldwide Network of the U.S.-based National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).

Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night is similar to BIC’s Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights, with the only difference being at the start, which is done with a rolling speed of 80 kph.
Thursday’s activity is scheduled to be held from 7 pm to 12 midnight. The cost to participate is BD22 for each driver or rider. Spectators can watch from the stands for a nominal fee of BD2.
Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night is the perfect opportunity for an engaging experience with a fellow motorsport fanatic. Both participants will be able to push their vehicles to their very limit within the secure and controlled environment at BIC.

As with all activities at BIC, safety is paramount for everyone involved. Therefore, cars and motorbikes must go through scrutineering before hitting the strip.
In addition to the Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Night, also available on Thursday evening is BIC’s most mind-boggling passenger ride: the Dragster Experience.
Known as “the Fastest Ride on Earth”, fans will have a chance to get a taste of pure speed as they are taken from zero to 100kph in just one-second while in the cockpit of a 10,500cc Top Dragster.
The Dragster Experience will be available from 7 pm to 10 pm. It can be enjoyed by two persons at a time. The cost is BD44 for the first passenger while the second passenger can get 50 percent off.
