Manama: The Kozhikode Jilla Pravasi Forum (KPF) successfully organized a mega medical camp on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm at KIMSHEALTH Hospital, Umm Al Hassam. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 400 individuals benefiting from the comprehensive health services provided during the camp.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Dr. Amarjit Kaur Sandhu, who commended the initiative for its focus on community health and well-being. The event was presided over by KPF President Sudheer Thirunilath, while General Secretary Arun Prakash extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
A highlight of the event was the distribution of membership cards to newly admitted members of the KPF registered group. Mrs. Madhuri Prakash, Director of Quality Education School, inaugurated the distribution ceremony by handing over the cards to Membership Wing Convener Mithun Nadapuram.
The occasion was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Kritika (KIMSHEALTH Hospital Admin), Francis Kaithanath (Managing Director, Bahrain Media City), and KPF Patrons KT Saleem, U K Balan, and Jamal Kuttikkattil. KPF Treasurer Sujith Soman also extended his greetings, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for the community.
Charity Wing Convener Sajith Velikulangara proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors for their unwavering support. The event was skillfully moderated by KPF executive members and women’s wing workers, with Ladies’ Wing Convener Sajna Shanub conducting the proceedings.
The mega medical camp underscored KPF’s commitment to serving the community and promoting health awareness among expatriates. The forum looks forward to organizing more such initiatives in the future, further strengthening its mission of unity and service.
