Global brand Chevrolet has joined the portfolio of power vehicles under the wings of HARIPHIL Asia Resources, Inc. led by its Vice Chairman, President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, a company statement said.
Agudo, known in the industry for dauntlessly building the auto brands under her watch to their maximum potential, now takes on the challenge of reestablishing the iconic Bowtie Brand in the minds and sensibilities of today’s diverse markets.
Themed “Generation Chevrolet 3.33,” this first formal meeting with the Chevrolet dealer network resonated with optimism and a call for “breakthroughs” in managing critical areas of the business.
As early as the first half of 2024, Chevrolet has been showing positive signs of resurgence.
Agudo reported 131% growth for the first half of 2024, beating the brand’s full year performance in 2023, and driven by the Tracker, Camaro, and Trailblazer.
Top performers in Sales, Service, Parts, CRM, and Dealer Management were accordingly recognized in a brief awards ceremony. “We want to acknowledge the dedicated individuals and teams of Chevrolet’s dealer network who fearlessly delivered remarkable results this first half of the year,” she affirmed.
Agudo also detailed the brand’s three-year roadmap to success, headlined by the introduction of new products, the opening of new dealerships in strategic growth areas of the country, and targets for 2024-2027. The meeting ended on a high note with the preview of exciting new models soon to enter the country.
“Taking a long view of HARI’s almost 25 years in the business, I clearly see how the ups and downs of our business accumulated to wins–because we refuse to stay down. We always get up, humbler but braver and wiser. I see history repeating itself as we embark on another breakthrough journey to fulfill General Motor’s vision to pioneer innovations that move and connect people in this broad and diverse world of ours,” she concluded.
