SINGAPORE — A new era in social media has begun as Jing, a next-generation creator-first digital platform, made its global debut at Hall 6 of Golden Village Funan in the Marina Bay area, drawing a full-capacity crowd in a landmark moment for digital engagement.
Designed to prioritize content creators, Jing introduces a streamlined monetization system that allows users to earn directly from their content—setting it apart from traditional social media platforms.
The launch event, hosted by Swiss content creator Marion Muller, featured special segments by Singaporean influencers Megan Foo and Kathy Wong, delivering an electrifying experience for attendees. The venue was filled with SME leaders, media executives, and key figures from the entertainment industry across Singapore and Malaysia, highlighting strong regional and global interest in Jing’s vision.

Adding star power to the event were award-winning international actress and “Muse of Philippine Cinema” Arci Muñoz, acclaimed actress Angeli Khang, and internationally recognized film director and singer-songwriter Nijel de Mesa.
Beyond the celebrity presence, Jing positioned itself as more than just another platform, emphasizing its role as a creator-first digital economy built to empower users.
During the keynote presentations, company executives outlined a bold reimagining of the digital landscape, followed by an engaging question-and-answer session.
“JING stands for Join, Interact, Network, Grow,” said Glen John Labasug, President, CEO, and founder of Jing. “Out of the 5.2 billion social media users from all over the world, only 3 percent are generating income. Jing is introducing mechanisms that directly connect to monetization opportunities, making it easier than ever for creators to turn their passion into sustainable income.”
Labasug added, “I am confident that this is the only platform which will reward you for the efforts that you’ll be putting up in Jing.”

Reinforcing this vision, Chairman and co-founder Jing Turla described the platform as a transformative step in the digital space.
“Jing is a deliberate step reshaping how values are created and shared in the digital space,” Turla said. “We believe in a balanced ecosystem, where creators are empowered, communities are strengthened, and opportunities are accessible.”
Chief Finance Officer Veron Valle closed the program with a message directed to the platform’s growing community.
“To our creators and future community, Jing was built for you. This is your platform to grow, to earn, and to thrive,” Valle said.
At a time when creators worldwide are demanding fair value for their work, Jing emerges as a platform designed to redefine how attention, engagement, and value are shared. By integrating monetization into its core experience, it positions itself as a viable ecosystem for creators, entrepreneurs, and digital communities.
Jing is now available for free download on Google Play and the Apple App Store, opening access to users worldwide.
The future of social media, it appears, is shifting—placing creators at the center.
