Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano announced that 99 out of 201 barangays in the city have been declared drug-free as a result of the city government’s campaign against the spread of illegal drugs.
The mayor thanked the city’s barangay chairmen for helping the city government in its fight against illegal drugs.
Rubiano said three barangays were recognized as “drug-free barangays” based on the recommendation of the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) are Barangays 134 under Chairman Noel Mariano, 20 under Chairman Antonio Donaire, and 164 under Chairman Robert Cruz.
