BIC, Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, is all set for a stacked weekend of exciting events, including a pair of engaging fan experiences and one of the Kingdom’s leading racing championships.
Taking place on Friday, 1 May, will be the latest edition of Batelco Fitness on Track. Then, on Saturday, 2 May, Open Track Night will be raising the thrill levels along with the eighth and final round of the 2025/2026 Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge (BRMC) – the Kingdom’s premier karting championship.

Friday’s Batelco Fitness on Track is scheduled for 6am to 10am, making for a bright and early start to the weekend. This unique physical activity can be done either on foot or on a bicycle – and either individually or with a group of family and friends – within the safe and controlled setting of a world-class Formula 1 venue.
Runners and walkers will be utilising BIC’s 2.55-kilometre Inner Circuit while cyclists will enjoy their ride along the 3.543-kilometre Outer Circuit, with a separate dedicated area available for children.

The cost to participate is BD1 for runners and BD2 for cyclists. Registration and payment can be done in advance via the circuit’s official website bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline at +973-17450000. Children under the age of 12 can join free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult.
Open Track Night will then bring the intensity up a notch from 6pm to 10pm on Saturday evening. Those taking part can satisfy their need for speed in their very own cars or motorbikes along BIC’s Inner Circuit, all within a controlled environment that promotes responsible driving.

Cars will be first out on the tarmac, with an Open Pit Lane scheduled from 6pm to 7.30pm. That will be followed by a single session from 7.30pm to 8pm, and then a members’ session from 8pm to 8.30pm. The bikes will follow with their Open Pit Lane from 8.30pm to 10pm. A members’ session will then take place from 10pm to 10.30pm.
Participation fees are BD71.500 for the half night and BD33 per session when booked in advance. On-the-day bookings are priced at BD82.500 for the half night and BD44 per session. Instructor sessions are also available, and additional drivers or passengers may take part for an extra fee.

Also on Saturday, Bahrain’s best karters will be wrapping up yet another action-packed campaign with the BRMC’s much-anticipated finale. The meeting will be held under lights from 3.30pm to 9.30pm at BIC’s world-class grassroots motorsport facility, Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC), where competitors will go wheel-to-wheel in their very own Rotax-powered machinery.
They will be battling it out along BIKC’s 1.414-kilometre CIK-FIA track for crucial championship points across the BRMC’s five categories, including Micro MAX, Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, and DD2 MAX. All fans are welcome to attend and cheer for the talented racers. Entrance to BIKC is free of charge.
