The arrival of Cebu Pacific’s (CEB) 13th Airbus A330neo aircraft proves its Asia’s operational resilience and reiterates its long-term commitment to sustainable, low-cost air travel.
The latest 459-seater aircraft is the third of the four A330neos slated for delivery in 2025, following those deliveries last March 28 and July 18.
The A330neo will begin to operate on additional domestic routes from November onwards to meet growing demands. The second Manila-Puerto Princesa flight for the week will commence on November 2; on November 16, the A330neo will begin daily schedules on the Manila-Bohol route.
According to Cebu Pacific, the expanded A330neo fleet will boost capacity on premier, highly demanding routes while providing travelers with more flight options—without sacrificing the signature low fares.
The Airbus A330neo is designed using the most modern technology, most efficiently. Compared with older aircraft of the same size, it consumes at least 15 percent less fuel, has lower CO2 emissions, and produces less noise. Cebu Pacific considers this to lead toward other sustainability projects it pursues.
“Being the largest A330neo operator in Asia reflects our strong commitment to enhancing connectivity across the region. This aircraft enables us to serve more passengers while keeping costs low, which is a key part of our mission to offer affordable fares for every Juan,” Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer, said.
Cebu Pacific has the widest network in the Philippines, with 37 local destinations and 26 international.
