The Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed on Tuesday that contractor Sarah Discaya visited the Malabon City Prosecutor’s Office.
In a statement, DOJ spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez said Discaya attended a hearing related to a case filed against her by the LGU of Malabon.
Martinez explained that Discaya requested and received permission from the NBI for a temporary release. This allowed her to attend the scheduled hearing and submit all necessary documents to the prosecutors.
Earlier reports indicated that Discaya left the NBI office in the morning, raising questions about her whereabouts. The DOJ stated that her movement was authorized and followed legal procedures.
