In anticipation of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s third State of the Nation Address (SONA) next week, Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez assured on Tuesday that the House of Representatives is fully prepared.
Romualdez confirmed in a press release that preparations for the SONA on July 22 are progressing smoothly, ensuring a “grand stage” for the president’s address.

According to Romualdez, the SONA will highlight the administration’s achievements and outline the President’s goals for the upcoming years.
During Monday’s final interagency meeting, officials reviewed arrival scenarios and security measures, ensuring a comprehensive strategy for maintaining peace throughout the event.
House Sergeant-at-Arms and former Police Major General Napoleon “Nap” Taas assured that meticulous security procedures are in place to guarantee a peaceful and orderly SONA.
Radio Television Malacañang will direct Marcos’ third SONA, as previously announced by Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil. Aileen Lor
