Manila, Philippines: Weekly, time yet attuned to strengthening up both diplomatic and economic relations between both countries in an official visit by the Cambodian Prime Minister, Hun Manet.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) informed us on Sunday that Tuesday will be the day of Hun Manet’s visit to the Philippines, marking his first official visit by the Filipino head of state, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. The visit will be held from February 10 to 11.
Issues revolving around strengthening bilateral relations on trade, investment, and cooperation in the region are part of the agenda. The bonds between the Philippines and Cambodia do go back, and it is worth mentioning that at present there are more than 7,000 Filipinos that are living and working in Cambodia.
The agenda, together with the agreements between the two nations, will soon be made known in a few days.
