The OVP proposed a budget of P2.037 billion for 2025 and expressed its desire to further increase its service delivery to cover more Filipinos.
With the budget increase, the OVP said it could extend its flagship programs to 1,139,244 beneficiaries, which is 12.39 percent higher than the current target.
In 2024, 87.59% of the OVP’s budget was for programs and projects, and 12.41 percent for its personnel services, equipment, and vehicles.
Among the key OVP initiatives are the following: medical and burial assistance, Libreng Sakay, and the Disaster Operations Center.
