Sarah Discaya, better known as “Ate Sarah,” a mayoral Pasig candidate in Pasig, revealed her flagship projects, including transforming Pasig into a “smart city” if she wins the election to become the next mayor of Pasig in 2025.
The Chief Financial Officer of the St. Gerrard Construction and Development Corporation, Discaya, has comprehensive plans for modernization through technological advancements, better infrastructure, and improvement of public services.

The plan further proposes an 11-storey University, meant to provide higher-level affordable and accessible education for Pasigueños. Further, she also said that there will be a construction of a seven-storey high school building and an up-to-date elementary building that will help enhance the “learning opportunities” for the city’s youth.
Aside from eyeing to build a school university, she is also eyeing the construction of a modern hospital/health facility that can compete with the state-of-the-art services offered by private medical establishments.
Discaya also vows to pursue vertical housing projects that will help address the housing backlog in the city, an ultramodern transport terminal to help ease the difficulty of passengers in commuting.

Meanwhile, Discaya also said she would commit to establishing a sensor-based traffic system and providing a vertical parking space for car owners. She also said she would improve flood management policy to lessen the impact of flooding.
Another project in mind is the establishment of a centralized command center responsible for the monitoring and enforcement of a large municipal CCTV system to prevent criminal acts and promote public safety. This initiative embodies the government’s commitment to a safer and technologically advanced urban environment.
These projects are part of Mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya’s efforts to accomplish forward strategies and innovations for the city, toward an improved living condition of its people.

“Gagamitin ko ang kakayanan ko sa pagpapalago ng mga pribadong kumpanya upang mabago at maisaayos ang buhay ng aking mga kababayan sa Pasig. Ito ang binibitiwan kong pangako, na pursigido kong tutuparin kung ako ay papalarin sa May 12 elections,” she said.
Discaya also said to tap her people management and customer service to deliver her campaign promises.
Discaya earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Computer Management at the Pasig Catholic College. She also took up a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Management of Service Institution at the La Consolacion College for two years.
She also studied at St. Paul’s Catholic School and St. Lawrence for her secondary and primary schools in London, England.
