PLDT Home, the consumer broadband arm of Philippine telecommunications company PLDT Inc., has reported a 4 percent increase in its revenues for the first half of 2025, driven by a strong growth of aggressive fibre expansion, bundled services, and enhanced customer engagement.
In a statement released on Friday, the unit reported P30.4 billion in revenues, with fibre-only revenues rising 7 percent year-on-year to P29.5 billion.
“Our growth signifies the increasing demand for fast connectivity and value-rich digital experience, “said John Y. Palanca, Senior Vice President and Head of PLDT Home Business.
The average revenue per user (ARPU) of the organization has been maintained at premium ₱1,485-the highest in the industry, and has added net adds in the first half, conditions which prove the strength of services and trust brought by the company. Last year, PLDT added 169,000 new customers to the fibre services segment. This means that their total connections are at 3.53 million.
Bundles, Customer Care to Drive Growth
PLDT Home attributed the rise of subscribers in part to bundled offerings and, thus, to digital service availability. The favorite flagships in bundles such as Fiber Unli All and Fiber Plus Netflix had quite a stir because 80 percent of new customers during Q2 opted for higher plans starting at ₱1,299.
The company is upgrading its innovations for customer service retention by reporting faster installation, AI-supported assistance, and improved repair time and keeping churn at the industry’s lowest rate of 1.93 percent.
Expanding the Reach of the Market
PLDT Home also targets new household segments with Fiber Prepaid for families who want to enjoy the flexibility of prepaid services. In its early results, it showed that ARPU levels remained healthy without cannibalizing the postpaid base.
PLDT Group maintains the largest fiber footprint in the Philippines, with 1.2 million cable kilometers, covering 19.01 million homes in 74 percent of towns and 91 percent of provinces nationwide.
As the adoption of digital continues to grow, PLDT Home reiterates its commitment to empowering to have strong and reliable connectivity and, thus, actively participate in the digital economy by Philippine households.
