Expressing his enthusiasm for the forthcoming season, League president Ricky Palou highlighted the synchronization of the calendar with the world governing body, ensuring a seamless integration of domestic and international volleyball events.
“This year’s calendar is designed to align with the FIVB schedule, ensuring a seamless integration of international and domestic volleyball events. We are committed to delivering a world-class experience for our fans and players alike,” said Palou, also the head of Sports Vision.
Palou said that the upcoming season promises an exciting year of elite women’s volleyball action spanning three conferences.
Six-time defending champion Creamline seeks to uphold its dominance in the PVL All-Filipino Conference with a formidable, unchanged roster. Meanwhile, teams like two-time Reinforced Conference winner Petro Gazz and the determined Cignal have strengthened their lineups. Choco Mucho, PLDT, and Chery Tiggo are also aiming for success, with Akari, Nxled, Farm Fresh, and Galeries expressing optimism about their chances following rigorous preparation.
Debutants Capital1 and Strong Group are poised and eager to make a significant impact in their inaugural season, showcasing their talents in the league where it all began.
Cignal is hosting a two-part media day, concluding on Monday, offering fans a glimpse into teams and players through a Pilipinas Live stream.
After the All-Filipino Conference, the PVL transitions to the Reinforced Invitational, showcasing foreign guest players and excluding national team members.
Following a brief hiatus, the much-anticipated 2024–25 All-Filipino Conference is scheduled from October 2024 to May 2025, offering fans an extended season to witness the pinnacle of Philippine volleyball. The league remains steadfast in delivering top-tier volleyball action, ensuring an unforgettable journey for both fans and players throughout the 2024 season.
