The PMPC Star Awards Inc. has officially released the partial list of winners for the upcoming 17th Star Awards for Music. Winners in the remaining categories will be revealed during the grand awards night on June 25 at the Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan City.
Leading the early roster of winners is the country’s reigning “Nation’s Girl Group,” BINI, which captured the Dance Recording of the Year award for its chart-topping hit “Salamin Salamin.” Sharing the honor in the same category is rising P-pop boy group Bilib for its infectious dance track “Say Whatcha Wanna Say.”
