BIC, Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, will host a series of motorsport events this Friday and Saturday (24 and 25 April), headlined by National Race Day (NRD), alongside Track Experiences and Open Track Night.
The racing action kicks off on Friday with NRD, featuring round six of the 2025/2026 Bahrain Touring Car Challenge (BTCC) and round four of the 2025/2026 Bahrain Motorcycle Championship (BMC).

The event is organised by BIC in cooperation with the Bahrain Motor Federation, the Circuit Racing Commission, and the Bahrain Motorcycle Commission. The BTCC is the Kingdom’s leading national circuit racing championship featuring the best local racing talent. It is set to witness strong competition for the top positions in the standings as the season nears its conclusion.
Ali Almansoori leads the championship standings after winning all 10 races held so far with 200 points, ahead of Ahmed Banjaid with 133 points and James Taylor with 115 points. The BMC is the Kingdom’s premier motorcycle series, with riders competing in the 1,000cc and 600cc classes. NRD will be held along BIC’s 2.554-kilometre Inner Track from 4pm to 10.30pm under lights.

Spectators are invited to attend the event, with tickets priced at BD2 for adults and BD1 for children. Tickets can be purchased online at bahraingp.com, through the BIC Hotline at +973-17450000, or at the gate. Fans can enjoy the racing from the Beyon Grandstand, which offers views of key sections of the circuit, including the start and finish line.

The action continues on Saturday with Track Experiences from 8am to 3pm, also on BIC’s Inner Track. Track Experiences offers participants the opportunity to take part in a Clio Cup Driver Experience, a Radical SR1 Driver Experience, and a Radical SR3 Passenger Experience, all under the supervision of professional instructors.

Participants will drive the Renault Clio Cup, featuring a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, navigating the circuit in a lead-follow format behind a professional instructor. The Radical SR1 Driving Experience features a 185bhp engine and is suited for both amateurs and experienced drivers, while the Radical SR3 Passenger Experience accelerates from zero to 100kph in approximately 3.4 seconds.

The cost of the Clio Cup Driver Experience is BD121, while the Radical SR1 Driver Experience is priced at BD132, and the Radical SR3 Passenger Experience at BD38.500.
Open Track Night will then take place on Saturday evening from 6pm to 9pm, with a members’ session from 9pm to 10pm. Open Track Night will allow participants to drive their own cars and motorbikes along BIC’s 5.412-kilometre Grand Prix track in a controlled environment that promotes safe driving.
Participation fees are BD71.500 for the half night and BD33 per session when booked in advance. On-the-day bookings are priced at BD82.500 for the half night and BD44 per session. Instructor sessions are available, and additional drivers or passengers may take part for an extra fee.
