The US-bound flight carrying Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino encountered a delay even before departing Manila, causing concern among fans.
The trip marks the start of KimPau’s much-anticipated world tour. According to reports, the pair had to wait at the airport for nearly two hours before finally receiving clearance to fly.
The delay sparked among supporters, especially since their scheduled performance in the United States was set for the following day. Fans expressed concern not only about the delay but also about the duo’s need to rest ahead of their show.
Despite the early hour, loyal fans stayed at the airport to see them off, showing unwavering support until the plane finally departed. Kim and Paulo, in turn, graciously accommodated fans with photo opportunities and accepted gifts.
Prior to this leg of the tour, KimPau performed in Redwood City on April 24, followed by a show in Anaheim on April 26. They are scheduled to appear next in Edmonton, Canada on May 1, with another performance lined up in Toronto on May 3.
