Actress Angelica Panganiban has cautioned the public against online scammers after discovering that her business venture with husband Gregg Homan is being exploited for fraudulent activities.
Panganiban revealed that a fake Facebook account has been impersonating the official page of their resort, Mangrove Resort Subic. The unauthorized page reportedly uses the resort’s name and images in an apparent attempt to mislead and defraud potential clients.
The actress clarified that Mangrove Resort Subic maintains only one official Facebook page and urged the public to exercise caution when dealing with online accounts claiming to represent the establishment.
She further advised netizens to refrain from engaging in transactions with unverified pages and to avoid disclosing personal information, sending payments, or submitting documents to suspicious entities.
Panganiban also issued a “Scam Alert” advisory through her official Instagram account to raise awareness about the fraudulent activity.
The couple is currently coordinating with the appropriate authorities to investigate the matter and prevent further incidents. — LeonidasA
