Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We enter the week with faith in the Lord Jesus that all ailments of the heart or body are healed in His mighty name. We must be born again and receive Jesus to be renewed. This especially applies to the mind and soul.
Some of you or perhaps those close to you may be experiencing any type of affliction of the mind and body. Receive the Word of God. Receive Jesus’s promise that by His stripes you are healed. Speak to that ailment, illness, or burden in your heart or mind and command it to leave with the authority the Lord Jesus left us with. Be persistent in prayer. Cry out to the Lord, and He will hear you.
That being said, those who walk righteously will be healed. Note that we cannot be willingly living in rebellion against God’s word and law and expect that we receive healing. If you are aware of any rebellion against God in your life, renounce it and change; repent and ask the Lord to take that bad habit away. Also, if you do not know what it is that is an abomination to God, ask Him to reveal it to you. He will, through dreams, visions, and more.
Also let us look at this verse of Luke: 5:17-20
Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man
One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
When Jesus saw their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
We must be confident that the Lord heals. The verse above shows us how the Lord can miraculously heal. If we have submitted to the Lord and confessed our sins, forgiven others as God forgives us, we can be totally healed.
Let us finish with a prayer for healing over all infirmities, ailments of heart, mind, and body.
Father, in the name of Jesus,
We come before Your throne with a grateful heart. We pray for healing over our minds and bodies. Any illness, any infirmity, we command it to go in Jesus’ mighty name. Have mercy on us, dear Abba Father, and let that ailment be cursed and gone, never to return. We glorify Your mighty name.
El Roi, El Shaddai, thank You for the healing upon (name the person).
Amen and amen.
In the brackets you may put the name of the person who needs healing.
A psalm that is very powerful for healing, whether physical or mental anguish, is Psalm 103.
Please read it over yourselves or those who need healing.
Please do leave a testimony of any healing that took place after your prayers or reading this in the comment section of the column.
A very nice worship song I recommend is:
Be blessed, dear brothers and sisters.
Expect miraculous healings this week. Be persistent in prayer and worship.
Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord!
