Manama: In a continuous effort to promote community health and extend compassionate service to the public, GEMS Global Institute successfully conducted a three-day Medical Mission on December 4, 5, and 6, 2025 at Dana Mall, Sanabis.

The initiative gathered an impressive turnout of residents who benefitted from free vital signs screening, health assessments, and patient education provided by the institute’s dedicated team of Nursing Assistant graduates and trainers.
A total of 20 Nursing Assistant graduates volunteered throughout the mission, showcasing the skills and professionalism they gained during their intensive training at GEMS. Their participation reflects the institute’s strong commitment to hands-on learning and community engagement.


The activity was supervised by esteemed GEMS trainers Maan Macaldo-Caya, Arvin Caya, and Shera Arollado, all BSN, RN, GN, who ensured that proper clinical protocols and safety standards were followed. Their guidance empowered the graduates to confidently assist patients and deliver high-quality care.
Also in full support were GEMS Global Institute’s President & CEO, Ms. Gem B. Reyes, and Vice President & Executive Director, Dr. Benson A. Castillejos, who were present throughout the mission. Their leadership and dedication continue to drive the institute’s vision of uplifting the Filipino community through skills development, education, and public service.

The event strengthened the partnership between GEMS Global Institute and Dana Mall, marking another milestone in the institute’s growing list of community-centered initiatives.
As GEMS expands its programs and outreach efforts, the successful Medical Mission stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, compassion, and education in building a healthier and more empowered community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
