“Amidst the countless stories we see, it’s sometimes disheartening that they mostly revolve around teenagers and young love. However, the love between seniors is unique and often even cuter than that of the youth,” shared veteran actor Ricky Davao.
“Love is universal, regardless of age. While working on this film with Gina, we found ourselves experiencing the same excitement and kilig,” he added.
The film delves into the life of Lydia, portrayed by Gina Alajar, a newly-retired high school principal who immerses herself in a community of fellow senior citizens through their shared love for movies in the mall.
“It’s a wonderful feeling to see that there is still interest in creating a film like this, where the protagonists are not box-office stars nor youngsters,” shared Gina Alajar during a media conference.
