AZ Martinez is proving she’s more than just another pretty face in showbiz—she’s fast becoming one of GMA Network’s most promising young stars. With her achievements piling up and fans rallying behind her, AZ is carving her own space in the spotlight.
She first won the public’s attention through Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, the landmark show that united ABS-CBN and GMA talents. That exposure shot her popularity sky-high, though she admits she’s still getting used to the whirlwind of fame.

“Honestly, I’m still so overwhelmed. Nakakagulat at nakakataba ng puso na may fans at mga taong sumusuporta—even in the smallest things. Hindi ko akalain na mararanasan ko ‘to,” she shared.
Even before reality TV, AZ already had the crown and confidence to shine. She was named Miss Summit International 2023 and Philippine Youth Ambassadress 2023 by the Philippine Youth Organization—proof that she carried both beauty and influence long before stepping into the limelight.
Her latest milestone? Becoming the newest celebrity ambassador of Skin Care Depot (SCD), founded by Ms. Gracee Angeles. For SCD, AZ embodies exactly what the brand stands for: authenticity, charm, and confidence.
“Beyond her beauty and flawless skin, AZ has an undeniable charm and confidence that make her stand out. What impressed me most is her authenticity—she’s genuine, passionate, and deeply in love with her craft. She’s not just popular; she embodies the kind of empowered, modern woman that perfectly reflects our brand,” said Ms. Gracee.

AZ, on her part, couldn’t be more thankful.
“Being chosen as the new face of SCD is such an honor. Sobrang grateful ako kay Ms. Gracee and the whole team for trusting me to represent the brand. Hindi lang siya about having good skin—it’s about confidence, self-love, and being proud of who you are. And I want to inspire others to embrace that, too.”
She added, “2025 has truly been a blessing. Ang daming surprises, ang daming unexpected na nangyari—pero lahat puno ng biyaya. I can honestly say this is my year. Thank God, kasi matagal ko na talagang ipinagdarasal ito. Now that it’s finally happening, I’m beyond grateful.”
Despite the attention, AZ keeps herself grounded.
“I always remind myself to stay true to my core, to remember why I’m here, and never forget the people who’ve been with me along the way.”
Her fans, however, don’t hold back. Her tandem with fellow PBB housemate Ralph de Leon—fondly tagged #AZRalph—has a strong following. Supporters even put up a custom LED billboard of their sweetest PBB moment.
“Like, I have LED! May billboard pa for Ralph and me. Nagugulat talaga ako sa ganun!” AZ laughed.

These experiences also reshaped her view of beauty.
“Before, in pageants, my idea of beauty was sobrang plakado. Pero sa PBB, nakita ako ng mga tao kahit bagong gising. That made me realize natural beauty is what I want to focus on now—walang masyadong pressure.”
And though she’s now a rising star, she’s still a fangirl at heart. Meeting Anne Curtis, she recalls, was unforgettable.
“I met her sa premiere niya ng It’s Okay to Be Not Okay. I told her I’m a fan. Nag-fangirl din talaga ako!”
From beauty queen to reality TV sweetheart, from actress to brand ambassador, AZ Martinez has shown she’s more than just a pretty face. With her authenticity, humility, and passion, she’s quickly becoming one of the most exciting young names in Philippine entertainment—and by the looks of it, this is only the beginning.
