Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth USD 24 million with Al Manama Tower Trading Co. to supply aluminium sheets during 2027. The MoU will serve the company’s requirements in the Saudi market and strengthen industrial and commercial cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The MoU was signed by Ebrahim Khalil, Executive Manager – Operations at GARMCO, and Khalifa Abdulrahman Al Yafie, Deputy CEO of Al Manama Tower Trading Co., in the presence of officials from both parties, on the sidelines of the inaugural Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition, held from 6 to 8 October 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain.

The MoU provides a framework for coordinating the supply of aluminium sheets and expanding cooperation between the two companies by connecting Bahrain’s manufacturing capabilities with Saudi market requirements. It also supports the development of shared GCC value and supply chains and strengthens intra-GCC trade in industrial products, demonstrating how partnerships between companies across the region can translate opportunities for industrial integration into tangible commercial cooperation.
Ebrahim Khalil, Executive Manager – Operations at GARMCO, said: “This MoU reflects GARMCO’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships in the region and strengthening industrial cooperation with our partners in Saudi Arabia. We see this as an opportunity to strengthen the regional presence of Bahraini industry and develop more integrated and efficient value chains, enhancing the competitiveness of the GCC industrial sector and supporting shared economic growth.”

Khalifa Abdulrahman Al Yafie, Deputy CEO of Al Manama Tower Trading Co., said: “We are pleased to sign this MoU with GARMCO and reaffirm our confidence in the quality of Bahraini products and their ability to meet our requirements for aluminium sheets in the Saudi market in 2027. We look forward to developing this cooperation to strengthen commercial and industrial relations between the two countries and support GCC industrial and economic integration.”
