Bahrain: Thevar Peravai Bahrain, in association with Al Hilal Hospital, organized a Mega Free Medical Camp as part of the celebrations marking India’s 80th Independence Day and in remembrance of the great national leader and freedom fighter Thiru U. Muthuramalinga Thevar.

The medical camp was inaugurated by Sudheer Thirunilath, Global PRO & President, Pravasi Legal Cell – Bahrain Chapter, who attended as the Chief Guest. Guest of Honor; Sayed Haneef, Social Worker, along with doctors and medical staff from Al Hilal Hospital, participated in the programme.

Thevar Peravai Bahrain President N.Thirumeni, General Secretary , KSankar Raj and Event Coordinator Suresh Kotoor were also present and actively supported the organization of the camp.

More than 250 people benefited from the free health check-ups, medical consultations and healthcare services provided during the camp. The programme reflected the spirit of community service and social responsibility, while commemorating India’s Independence Day and honoring the legacy of Thiru U. Muthuramalinga Thevar, whose life and contributions continue to inspire generations.

The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to the doctors, medical staff, volunteers, members and members of the public for their valuable cooperation and support, which contributed to making the Mega Free Medical Camp a grand success.
The event highlighted the importance of accessible healthcare and strengthened the spirit of unity, service and community welfare among the Indian diaspora in Bahrain.
