Bea Alonzo’s fiancé, Vincent Co, was spotted in public on what was supposed to be their wedding day in Spain on May 14.
Among the event’s special guest performers were Kyline Alcantara, Angeline Quinto, and Kathryn Bernardo.
The supermarket chain executive attended the 2026 Tindahan ni Aling Puring (TNAP) Sari-Sari Store Convention at the World Trade Center Metro Manila alongside his father, Lucio Co.
According to those who attended, this was allegedly intentional to avoid putting additional stress on Vincent, as the date coincided with what was supposed to be his wedding day with Bea in Spain.
Earlier reports claimed that the much-anticipated wedding would no longer push through because of certain conditions stated in their prenuptial agreement.
No members of the media were reportedly present to cover the event.
Reports also alleged that Bea’s manager, Shirley Kuan, was among the individuals allegedly discouraging the actress from proceeding with the wedding, along with campaign strategist Alan German.
The alleged reason behind their opposition was the possible loss of what some reportedly considered a “cash cow.”
German denied the allegations, saying he had never even met Bea. He reportedly even offered P10,000 to anyone who could prove otherwise.
As for Kuan, there has been no known record of her interfering in the personal lives of her clients, including Donna Cruz, who married Yong Larrazabal in September 1998. — AReynaldo
