According to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), two OFWs in Kuwait are in critical condition after the building where they were staying caught fire on Wednesday.
The said OFWs- Julio Cabrera Montemayor and Michael Dizon are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Adan Hospital,
The victims are all foremen and engineers, and they have notified their families.

Meanwhile, OWWA Administrator Arnell Ignacio stated that they are in communication with Kuwaiti officials. This ensured that they could instantly address the victims’ needs.
During the Kuwait building fire, 49 people lost their lives and all victims were foreign workers.
The authorities, however, did not disclose immediately the nationalities of the deceased.
More than 30 Indian citizens were admitted to one hospital, according to the embassy’s social media post, while at least 47 staff required medical treatment.
According to a letter addressed by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to India’s foreign minister and shared with the press, several Indians died in the fire, including those from the southern state of Kerala.
An Egyptian driver who survived the fire informed local media that the fire originated on a lower floor and that people on higher floors were unable to escape. He claimed the building had been filled with dense smoke.
