Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma leads the signing of the pledge of commitment to end violence and discrimination against women as the Department launched its own chapter of Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere (MOVE) at the DOLE Central office on March 4, 2024.
The launch of the DOLE-MOVE chapter in line with the celebration of women’s month is simultaneous with the launch of the DOLE Gender and Development (GAD) Agenda 2024-2028: Framework and Strategic Plan.
Copies of the GAD Agenda were handed over by Undersecretary Benjo Santos M. Benavidez (9th from left, bottom photo) to Secretary Laguesma, Undersecretary Carmela I. Torres (10th from left), Assistant Secretaries Amuerfina S. Reyes (6th from right), Dominique Rubia-Tutay (8th from right), Paul Vincent W. Añover (12th from right), and Warren M. Miclat (10th from right), and to other DOLE officials.
