Dyslexia was previously known as word blindness, a learning disability that affects either reading or writing and different people are affected to different degrees.
It is a lifelong condition, but its symptoms and effects can vary in intensity and change over time.
This is the role that Seth Fedelin plays in an exciting romantic comedy film, which will surely be a hit among the Gen-Zs.
Seth plays James Montefalco, a notorious playboy who forgets every ex—not because he is a jerk, but because he has dyslexia, which Google says is a neurodevelopment disorder that impacts his ability to read, spell, and write. A disorder that affects his difficulties in identifying speech sound and relating them to letters and words(decoding), and the tendency to forget.
And this character is what will challenge his mystery girl played by Francine Diaz who suddenly shows up—wild, unfiltered, absolutely not his type, but who could she be to him to fall in love with her?
Was it her killer charm, her devil may care enigma with a sharp tongue? But in all this, she has one outrageous mission: to win James Montefalco and become her boyfriend.. whether is ready or not.
So the chaos begins in this romantic tandem of Seth and Francine in the movie “She Who Must Not Be Named” as the country’s hottest teenage loveteam brings an engaging, entertaining and emotionally resonant and humorous plot line.
Francine and Seth bet that viewers can connect on a personal level.
The roles must have been so tailored for Francine and Seth since they can blend with each other so well having been the best of friends for quite sometime. They have formed a great chemistry that they confessed they can easily get each other’s acts even with the movement of their eyes. That’s how close they get without any hint of any romantic touch.
During the media launch held at the Common Ground Working Space in Rockwell, Makati City, the Kapamilya actor said that their friendship has been tested by time, by a lot of problems even up to now.
“Nakikita ko at gusto kong makasama sa future ko si Francine. Napatunayan ko na ito ngayon, mas matured na, alam mong di na 16, or 17,” Seth expressed.
He said that they are already at the point where we are on the real phase of our lives.
Francine stressed that the only assurance they can give is their real friendship, they are good, good friends.
Francine also emphasized, “Para sa akin, when he say na nakikita niya ako sa future, di naman ibig sabihin nun laging may kaakibat na romance.”
How Francine will handle Seth or the dyslexic James Montefalco is what you should see in this movie that will be navigated by the Gen Zs.
Will she get disturbed by his difficulty writing her name, will he get confused by the sound in his head with struggles to express it? Will she still pursue her mission to make him her boyfriend upon knowing he is hard to handle?
Joining the wacky, chaotic romance cum drama cum mystery plot are fellow Gen Zs Elijah Alejo as Jayda, Kych Minemoto, an actor who’s done it all—from heartbreak films like May-December-January to fan-fave Gameboys. He is Robin Montefalco in this movie.
Other Gen Z-etters are Kaleb Ong, an actor with an engineering degree, yes, brain and brawn, who has starred in Filipino dramas like The Day I Loved You and Meet My Angel. He plays Paul Reynante. Abdul Raman, A Filipino-Egyptian quadruple threat—actor, singer, dancer and model who turned heads as a finalist in Starstruck Season 7 and hasn’t stopped since. His projects included Legal Wives, Raising Mamay and Arabella… his IMDb page needs some scrolling. He is Luke Salviejo in this film. And then, Raven Rigor who is part actor, part social media star and full time scene stealer. You’ve seen him on ABS CBN’s Huwag Kang Mangamba, Beach Bros., Dirty Linen and Fractured. He’s also in the upcoming g BL film, At Least We Had This Moment which premiered in London and is headed to Korea. His role in this movie: Mark Delgado.
