Ayon sa DepEd pinahihintulutan lamang ang mga paaralan ng magdaos ng blended learning schedules at full-distance learning hanggang October 31, 2022, batay ito sa calendar of activities na inilabas ng DepEd kahapon at kinumpirma ni Vice President at DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte para sa itatakdang pagbubukas ng School Year 2022-2023 sa August 22, 2022 at ito’y magtatagal hanggang sa July 7, 2023 ngunit habang hindi na papayagan ang distance at blended learning sa elementary at high school pagpasok ng November.
Lahat ng Public at Private Schools ay may 5-araw dapat na in-person o face-to-face classes sa darating ng November 2, 2022.
“After the said date, no school shall be allowed to implement purely distance learning or blended learning except for those that are implementing Alternative Delivery Modes,” nakasaad pa sa naturang kautusan.
Ang SY 2022-2023 ay bubuin ng 203 school days at ito’y limitado lamang sa academics at mga related co-curricular activities, paalala ng DepEd
Ipinagbabawal din ang mga extra-curricular activities. Idinitalye rin ng kagawaran na ang SY 2023-2024 ay magsisimula sa August 28, 2023 hanggang June 28, 2024 habang ang SY 2024-2025 ay mula naman sa August 26, 2024 hanggang June 27, 2025 nito.
Ang enrollment period ay isasagawa sa July 25, 2022 hanggang sa August 22, 2022, bago ang pagbabalik-eskwela ay magdaraos muna rin ng Brigada Eskwela mula August 1 hanggang 26, 2022, at Oplan Balik Eskwela sa August 15, 2022.
‘The Key Is Good Ventilation’: Mayor Vico Sotto says, No Plastic Barriers For Schools in Pasig City
Sa Pasig City, sinabi ni Mayor Vico Sotto na ang dry run ng face-to-face classes ay magwawakas sa mga plastic na hadlang sa paghihiwalay ng mga mag-aaral, sa halip ay umaasa sa agham ng physical distancing at tamang bentilasyon.
Mayor Vico Sotto dry run of face-to-face classes in Pasig City would do away with plastic barriers to separate students, relying instead on the science of physical distancing and proper ventilation.
Sotto said four schools in the city could be part of the face-to-face classes dry run: Pasig Elementary School, Nagpayong Elementary School, F. Legaspi Memorial School, and Pasig Ugong National High School.
Students wearing of face masks were positioned one seat apart during the simulation at Pasig Elementary School. Unlike in other schools, there were no plastic barriers.
“Gaya ng sabi ng maraming eksperto — the key is good ventilation and air flow!” he said.
DepEd Pasig is eyeing the return of face-to-face classes by Dec. 6, 2021 he said.
