Actress Maris Racal has confirmed her separation from singer Rico Blanco.
In an emotional video posted online, the “Broken AF” actress struggled to hold back tears when asked about the status of their relationship.
“There are so many questions, and I’m tired of smiling and nodding,” she said. “I’m so scared because if I announce it, it’s real. But yes, Rico and I are over.”
Maris revealed that she ended the relationship a few weeks ago, describing the breakup as the “loneliest, emptiest week” of her life. The actress characterized the situation as “complicated,” making it difficult to explain what happened.
Despite the complexity, Maris mentioned that she had communicated the changes in her life to Rico, and described their separation as “very polite.”
The couple went public with their relationship in 2021.
