Manama: The Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) announced that following Iranian aggression on the Kingdom of Bahrain, civil air navigation equipment for managing the Bahrain Flight Information Region (FIR) was targeted by hostile drones, without this affecting the course of air navigation operations.
The CAA confirmed that the competent authorities immediately began dealing with the incident in accordance with the approved operational and security procedures, and took the necessary measures to ensure the continuity of navigational services and the safety of air traffic.
It explained that flights and overflying transit air traffic through the Bahrain Flight Information Region are operating normally, with continuous monitoring and coordination with international organizations and relevant authorities.
