The PFP, led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. (PBBM), and the NUP, led by Camarines Sur Rep. LRay Villafuerte, announced their alliance yesterday at a ceremony held at the Manila Golf and Country Club in Makati City.
According to Villafuerte, this partnership aims to work towards the development of the New Philippines, ensuring a better quality of life for Filipinos. Both parties are committed to building a prosperous and peaceful New Philippines where no Filipino is left behind.
The agreement was signed by key representatives from both parties, including chairman and former Interior and Local Government Secretary Ronaldo Puno and Secretary-General Bataan Rep. Albert Garcia for the NUP, as well as South Cotabato Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr., PFP President; Executive Vice President and Special Assistant to the President Secretary Antonio Lagdameo Jr.; and Vice Chairman and House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Alexander Ferdinand Marcos III for the PFP.
Notable attendees at the event included NUP Vice Chairman Mandaluyong Rep. Neptali Gonzales II, Antipolo Rep. Romeo Acop, Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas, and PFP Secretary-General (retired) Gen. Thompson Lantion.”
