The ongoing conflict between the United States-Israel alliance against Iran has trapped Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), who have begun arriving in the country.
Reports indicate that many individuals currently waiting for evacuation flights come from different nationalities, all seeking a safe way out as tensions in the Gulf region continue to escalate. Authorities are still working to identify secure airspace routes to allow aircraft to evacuate civilians who wish to escape the war safely.

Operations at Dubai International Airport remain limited after reportedly being attacked by Iran during the conflict, which has raised concerns about the safety of air travel in the region. The situation has complicated travel in and out of the region, forcing airlines and governments to coordinate evacuation efforts carefully.

Meanwhile, the government expressed gratitude after 34 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who had been stranded arrived home yesterday. Officials clarified that the workers were not part of the government’s repatriation program related to the Gulf conflict.
Their return had already been scheduled, but they were temporarily stranded due to the ongoing unrest in the region.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as evacuation and repatriation efforts intensify.
