Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., is temporarily free from jail after the Sandiganbayan Third Division granted his petition to post bail regarding his malversation case.
“Thank you, Lord,” Revilla shared in a Facebook post shortly after being formally granted bail.
The court has set a P1 million bail.
According to Dennis Pulma, Clerk of Court of the Third Division, the court ruled in favor of Revilla’s bail application but denied similar requests from his co-accused.
Revilla and his co-accused are facing a non-bailable malversation linking them to a flood control “ghost project” worth P92.8M in Pandi, Bulacan.
