Santa Emmanuelle Haute Couture, founded by Filipino designer Dana Liwag and co-presented by Batangas Lakelands, presents Santacruzan: Tradition Meets Innovation—a celebration of Filipino arts, culture, and heritage through a fusion of tradition and modern fashion.
Happening on April 12, 2025, at 4 PM, this highly anticipated event will feature a fashion show at Corte Colmenas, the newest and most expansive venue inside Batangas Lakelands. The showcase highlights the timeless beauty of Batangas’ local weaves, Habing Ibaan and Burdang Taal, reimagined into contemporary masterpieces by Santa Emmanuelle, known for seamlessly blending heritage with innovation.
Based in Barangay Poblacion, Padre Garcia, Batangas, Santa Emmanuelle Haute Couture specializes in bridal and evening gowns, recognized for elegance and intricate craftsmanship. The label has gained international recognition, participating in Hollywood Prestige Fashion Week (October 2024) and New York Fashion Week (2025), reinforcing its commitment to ethical fashion. It has also been featured in events like Ever After: A Journey Through Time at Hilton Manila and the Tie the Knot Bridal Fair, highlighting top wedding suppliers in Batangas.
The fashion show will feature 31 queens and 6 angels. Among the personalities are Francine Garcia, an actress and beauty queen, and Queenay Mercado, a social media sensation. Also joining are Celina Francine Garcia, Ms. WBO Top Model Philippines 2023 – 1st Runner Up, Jannah Rochella Puno, Ms. Tourism Philippines 2021 – 1st Runner Up, and Beamae Sumulong, recently awarded Miss Grand Philippines Batangas in the Miss World Philippines Batangas 2025 pageant, alongside figures from politics, business, and entertainment.
Beyond the fashion show, the event includes a mass at the Atrium of Casa Blanca and an exhibit at the East Concourse, featuring Santa Emmanuelle’s other works. This showcase offers a rare opportunity to witness her mastery beyond the runway, cementing her influence in Filipino fashion. Guests will also witness a grand Santacruzan parade, celebrating Filipino traditions. The event is open to food and non-food exhibitors, providing a platform for businesses to showcase products and services.
The tradition of Santacruzan has gradually faded over the years, especially in modern times. Through this event, Santa Emmanuelle and the Lima Park Group aim to revive and preserve this cherished cultural heritage, ensuring that future generations continue to appreciate its significance.
This event is made possible by the following major sponsors: Holiday Inn & Suites, Batangas Limapark, an IHG Hotel, DIWA Learning Systems, and BusinessMirror. Other esteemed media partners like Barako PH News, Lipa Status, Lipa City Philippines, and WOWBatangas will be in attendance as well.
