When it comes to making songs that people can’t stop talking about, King of Pinoy Rap Andrew E. knows exactly how to do it.
His newest single, “Pasta,” is already becoming a huge hit after its media launch on July 29 at G Side Superclub, which also marked the rap icon’s 59th birthday celebration. Just days after its release, the song started climbing the charts, creating buzz online, and getting fans hooked on its catchy chorus.
The biggest highlight? The now-famous line, “Put A Little More, Ibuhos Mo!” Another lyric that got everyone talking was “Cantuccini.” True to Andrew E.’s signature style of clever wordplay and playful double meanings, fans and netizens quickly came up with their own funny interpretations of the lyrics.
During his live performance, the crowd even had fun changing some words while singing along, creating a hilarious moment that quickly spread on social media. However, those improvised versions from the audience are not part of the official song release.
Talking about the inspiration behind “Pasta,” Andrew E. shared that the song represents something people love but sometimes forget about until they experience it again.
“Just like pasta, it’s something you enjoy so much, but it doesn’t stay on your mind every day. That’s how I see my songs too. You may not hear them all the time, but once they play again, the memories instantly come back.”
The celebration became even more special when his wife, Mylene Espiritu, shared her sweet message of support online.

“Pasta” serves as the lead single of Andrew E.’s upcoming six-track album, “Wholesome Again.” The album also features his first-ever collaboration with his 23-year-old son, MC 4D (Andrew Fordy Espiritu)
Andrew E. admitted that working with other artists was something he rarely did before.
“Honestly, medyo allergic ako sa salitang collaboration. Yung songs at style ko kasi, hindi talaga collaborative. Mahirap pagsamahin, lalo na’t kilala ako sa naughty at playful na lyrics. Kaya ang una kong tunay na collaboration ay sa sarili kong anak. It just feels natural.”

Aside from promoting his new music, Andrew E. is also gearing up for his Wholesome Again World Tour 2026. The King of Pinoy Rap kicks off the tour in Phoenix, Arizona on August 14, followed by San Leandro, California on August 23 at the Historic BAL Theatre with some of the renowned Dongalo artists. He will then perform in San Antonio, Texas on August 29 at Stable Hall, before wrapping up this leg of the tour in Whitby, Ontario, Canada on September 5.
Joining him on stage are Jaw Tee (Salbakuta), Budz and Proy of Undadogz Rap Duo, Sixth Threat, and musical director Alvin Caraveo.
Adding another achievement to his legendary career, Andrew E. was recently recognized with the Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award by PMPC Star Awards Inc. The honor celebrates his more than three decades of contribution to Original Pilipino Music and his role in helping shape the Philippine hip-hop scene.
