Manama: Mr. Abdulwahed Al-Janahi, CEO of Benefit Company, affirmed that the silver jubilee of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women represents a national occasion to take pride in what Bahraini women have achieved over twenty-five years, and to recall the influential role of the Council in developing policies and initiatives that have strengthened their participation in the development process and opened up broader horizons for them to advance professionally and assume leadership positions.
On this occasion, Al-Janahi extended his highest congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of His Majesty and President of the Supreme Council for Women.
He said: “The Supreme Council for Women has contributed to establishing a national environment that supports the advancement of Bahraini women, enabling female talents to play an increasing role in the financial and banking sector, particularly in areas related to financial technology. Bahraini women have demonstrated their competence in developing electronic payment systems, credit information services, data management, and digital platforms that have become an essential component of the Kingdom’s financial infrastructure.”
He added: “ Benefit is proud of the contribution of its female employees in developing the company’s services and implementing its national projects, and will continue to invest in providing them with the necessary technical and administrative skills to keep pace with the rapid developments in the financial technology sector. The Equal Opportunities Committee also supports these trends by following up on initiatives and supporting training, career advancement, and assuming leadership responsibilities based on competence and merit.”
