Fans of all ages are invited to participate in the highly anticipated Batelco Fitness on Track and the thrilling Track Experiences. These events are part of BIC’s year-round calendar of offerings that cater to a wide range of interests.
Batelco Fitness on Track will take place today, April 19, at the renowned “Home of Motorsport in the Middle East.” From 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., participants will have the opportunity to exercise in the unique and safe environment of BIC. Whether on foot or by bicycle, this event promises a fun and active start to the weekend. Runners and walkers will take on the 2.550-kilometer Inner Circuit, while cyclists can enjoy the 3.543-kilometer Outer Circuit.
Additionally, there will be a dedicated area for children’s cycling. The cost for cyclists is BD2, while runners can participate for BD1. On Saturday, April 20, BIC will host the Track Experiences, offering participants the chance to get behind the wheel or experience the thrill of high-speed rides in three exhilarating cars. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., fans can immerse themselves in the adrenaline-fueled world of motor racing on BIC’s 2.55km Inner Track.
In the Clio Cup Experiences, participants can either drive or ride in a Renault Clio Cup sportscar. This 1.6-liter, Turbocharged speedster provides an unforgettable introduction to the world of motor racing. Drivers will have the opportunity to follow a professional instructor on the track, while passengers can sit back and enjoy the ride.
The Radical SR1 Driving Experience offers participants the chance to unleash the power of the car’s 185bhp engine. To take part in this activity, interested individuals must complete a Clio Cup Drive. For those seeking the ultimate thrill, the Radical SR3 Passenger Experience accelerates from zero to 100kph in about 3.4 seconds, providing an unforgettable experience on the circuit. The cost for the Clio Cup Driver Experience is BD121, while the Clio Cup Passenger Experience is BD27.500. The Radical SR1 Driver Experience is priced at BD132, and the Radical SR3 Passenger Experience is BD38.500.
