SAKHIR, Bahrain – Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), the renowned “Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,” held its annual Ramadan ghabga for staff, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and celebrating a significant milestone. The ghabga, a traditional Ramadan gathering held after sunset, was hosted at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
BIC’s esteemed leadership team, including Chairman Arif Rahimi, Board Members, and Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, graced the event with their presence. Senior management from across the circuit also joined the celebration.
The evening program resonated with a dual focus. It commemorated BIC’s remarkable 20th anniversary, a testament to the circuit’s enduring legacy in the world of motorsport. Furthermore, it served as a platform to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of BIC’s dedicated staff.

Shaikh Salman presented certificates of appreciation to long-serving employees who have achieved remarkable milestones of 10 and 20 years of service at BIC. These presentations highlighted BIC’s commitment to its workforce and its recognition of the vital role staff members play in the circuit’s success.
The annual staff ghabga exemplifies BIC’s commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Building on this tradition, BIC will also host a separate Ramadan ghabga dedicated to national media professionals, further strengthening its collaborative relationships within the industry.
