The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has dismissed ex-agent Jonathan A. Morales from the service.
Morales was dismissed due to lying and grave misconduct in planting evidence in a fake drug-bust operation.
It can be remembered that Morales was the sole witness of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs, stressing the connection between President “Bong Bong” Marcos and actress Maricel Soriano in drugs.
In the decision released by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) last July 7, 2014, the CSC affirmed the PDEA’s decision to dismiss Morales from the service.
Due to this chaos, Morales was tagged as a “professional liar” by the executives.
Moreover, since Morales was dismissed from the service, he is now banned from taking any CSC exams and benefits are forfeited.
