The Next-Generation Ford Ranger has reached its 15,000th customer milestone, only fourteen months after it was launched in the country.
As of September 2023, sales of the Next-Gen Ranger reached 16,127 units since it launched in July 2022. It also remained Ford Philippines’ top-selling vehicle for the first nine months of the year with sales growing by 22 percent from a year ago to 9,113 units.
“We are elated with the achievement of this new milestone for the Next-Gen Ranger, which is a true testament to its growing popularity among Filipino pickup truck buyers. We thank our loyal base of Ranger owners for their trust and our dealers for continuing to enhance the ownership experience,” says Mike Breen, managing director, Ford Philippines.
The Ranger commands strong presence on the road with a defined new grille, rear box side steps, wider track and wheelbase, embossed tailgate and LED taillamps, and C-clamp LED headlamps that give it that unmistakable ‘Built Ford Tough’ look. Cabin is completely redesigned with the Ranger-first 8” digital instrument cluster, 10” or best-in-class 12” portrait touchscreen, and 360-degree camera.
An upgraded chassis and suspension, with a 50mm track width increase, ensure excellent ride and handling, whether riding with passengers, fully loaded with cargo or towing.
Safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert & Braking and comes with standard 6 or 7 (for Wildtrak) airbags.
