Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and two Light Rail Transit lines (LRT-1 and LRT-2) have suspended train services to observe Holy Week and conduct annual maintenance activities.
As stated in an announcement by the management of MRT-3, train operations will be suspended starting Maundy Thursday, April 17, up to Easter Sunday, April 20, while regular service will resume on Monday, April 21.

Like the MRT-3, the LRT-1 and LRT-2 services will be suspended from April 17 to April 20 to undertake general inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation of the lines.
LRT-1 management stated, “All LRT-1 trains will undergo thorough testing and inspection before the normal operation of the entire line resumes on 21 April 2025 (Monday),” said LRT-1 management.
Meanwhile, according to the advisory from LRT-2, operations will resume at 5:00 am on Monday, April 21.
All passengers are advised to adjust their schedule accordingly and consider other modes of transport during the service suspension period.
