The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Shear Line is expected to bring rains over the eastern section of Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon will continue to affect Luzon.
In Eastern Visayas, Capiz, Aklan, Iloilo, Bicol Region, and Romblon, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected.
The atmospheric disturbance is attributed to the Shear Line and Easterlies, and residents are warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon are forecasted to experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon. PAGASA reports no significant impact in these areas at the moment.
For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are anticipated, attributed to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact expected.
In the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected due to the Easterlies and Localized Thunderstorms.
PAGASA residents to be vigilant for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
