The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will purchase another machine plate that will generate vehicle license plates to address the backlog and delay of vehicle license plates in order to resolve the issue.
The recently appointed Chief Attorney of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) According to Teofilo Guadiz ll, adding a second machine in addition to the vehicle plate producer will eliminate the backlog in issuing license plates.
In a media interview, Guadiz was informed that there is presently just one machine that makes car plates, which is reportedly the cause of the delay in the issuance of registered vehicle plates.
In order to clear the backlog of plates, Guadiz added, “Ang isa sa nakikita namin solusyon dito ang pagpakuha ng isa pang machine plate.”
Earlier, certain organisations reported that the Land Transportation Office had released automobile license plates with a lengthy delay (LTO).
Guadiz, however, claimed that the LTO is making every effort to return to the owners of the vehicles their registered license plates.
Guadiz has also expressed dissatisfaction over the purportedly protracted issuing of renewing driver’s licenses, which once took just two hours but now takes close to a week.
In this regard, the LTO chief stated that the organization is presently researching how to abbreviate the driving school seminar due of the complaints they are receiving, but he stated that the driving seminar would not be removed. P.Tan
